Review of the Reviews

The movie Town is from 2010 its about some men who live in New York and are robbing banks and trucks that  have money but when they get a witness to one of the bank robberies, the FBI starts to look for them. They have heat but yet choice to keep robbing. The main character Doug MacRay played by Ben Allfeck falls in love with the witness and things get bad. To find out what happens I recommend to watch this movie. The reviews I got are from Rotten Tomatoes http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/the_town/. 94% of movie critics liked this movie and 84% of normal people liked this movie. Overall I can say that people enjoy the movie. The positive review that I found was by Peter Rainer From the Christian Science Moniter. http://www.csmonitor.com/The-Culture/Movies/2010/0917/The-Town-movie-review. I feel as if Peter explained the movie really well he set up a good idea of how the characters are and focused on what was really happening. When peter describes the people he gives us a good idea of what they will do and if they are the good or bad guys." The tough on the outside, kind hearted on the inside Doug is matched by Claire". This sentence alone shows that there will be something going on between Doug and Claire. Peter also talked about how Ben Allfeck is in other movies and you could see that these movies are the movies he likes to do. Peter also talks about how as a directer for this movie he does not over do the culture of the Irish people. I strongly agree with what Peter Rainer said about this movies and recommend people who like action and crime to watch this movie. The negative review I have picked is by Dana Stevens from slate even thought I disagree with Dana there is a few things I do agree with. http://www.slate.com/articles/arts/movies/2010/09/boston_boston_boston_ben_affleck.html. Dana Stevens explanation of the movie is kinda bland she makes it sound like every crime movie but i disagree because i think there are movie interesting aspects of the movie. "The romance that ensues, a yuppie bank manager falling for the charms of the working-class bank robber, is the movie's single most un-buyable element (and believe me, there's some competition in this department)." There is a little bit of romance that plays in the movie but there is more then just the typical love story in here, I think she didn't have an opened mind during this movie and thought about how all other movies are.
I still recommend this movie, when you have free time and want to relax this movie is perfect.
